By nature, the Pacific Division, like the American Association for the Advancement of Science itself, is a very broad based organization encompassing all aspects of Science, Engineering, Technology and Math as well as science-related perspectives provided by philosophy, art, culture and the humanities.  Our organizing is also very interested in issues involving society, policy, learning and education.

Accordingly, the content of our meetings ranges very broadly (for a complete example of our most recent meeting agenda click here).  Or you can look at the main menu headings at the top of this website:  Crossing Disciplines, Science and Policy, Engaging the Public, and Empowering Students. You can also find information about Content Sections of our organization as well as the individuals responsible for each section here.

Also, by design, our meeting seeks to especially encompass this broad range of subjects as manifest in the specific location and region our meeting takes place each year.  In this case, Boise Idaho and the Pacific Northwest.

If you have specific ideas for subjects to include in our meeting, you can click here to indicate interest in the meeting, where you can also make suggestions.

We look forward to hearing from you.
