Our Annual Meetings:  A principle focus of the Pacific Division for more than 100 years has been the organization of an annual meeting based on a very broad base of science and science related subjects, presenting in the form of symposia, workshops, town hall meetings, individual contributed talks, plenary speakers, social events and field trips.  Please see 'Most Recent Annual Meeting Program, in the 'About us' drop down menu , or you can look at specific  content from that meeting related to the themes of Interdisciplinary sciencescience policy, as well as events considering how to engage the public in science including those specifically organized around issues of local concern.

For 2021, the Pacific Division will, for the first time, organize a hybrid meeting seeking to integrate on-line and in-person participation.  In addition to being responsive to health concerns related to Covid-19, the on-line component will be specifically designed to further extend the reach and diversity of participation in our meeting.

Please click here if you would like to sign up for more information about this year's meeting.  You can also indicate if you are considering attending, giving a presentation, or organizing an event for the meeting, on-line or in-person.

In particular, throughout the more than 100 years of Pacific Division meetings, a major meeting emphasis has been placed on providing students at all levels (from high school to advanced degrees) an opportunity to attend, present and learn.  We will be specifically developing innovative mechanisms for students to participate in the meeting.
